My Doctor Told Me I Was on a Path to an Early Death!

He said he could tell that I was depressed and he warned me about “giving up on life.”

He said when seniors do that they become much more likely to get sick and die.

He urged me to take up hobbies, to become more active, to get reengaged with life.

He asked me what I liked to do.

After struggling to find an answer, I remembered painting. It’s something that I loved to do when I was younger but that I gave up as my life got busy with kids and work.
