You can, but I wouldn't recommend doing so. By applying the film directly onto the screen, you retain the responsiveness of your touchscreen. An extra layer between the film and the screen might result in a reduced sensitivity, especially during the "softer" tap, swipe or touch interactions.

Simply wipe it using a clean damp cloth with a drop of dish soap or any screen/lens cleaning solution. After applying the cleaning solution, wipe it from one end to another, then use a second damp cloth to wipe the cleaning solution off the film.

The film is made and tested to be used with Apple Pencil, therefore it's designed to withstand the friction of the Pencil without a problem.

If you notice scratches, however, you might need to replace the tip of your Apple Pencil. Even though they seem plastic, Apple Pencils still contain some metal. Should you notice a dark dot on the tip of your Pencil, you should replace the tip.

Detailed application instructions are enclose with every package, so make sure to follow them.

Using the attached accessories, clean the screen completely and wipe off any specks of dust, water or dirt before applying the film. Try to apply the film in a clean, calm space with as little other activity as possible present.

Mind that it's completely normal for some air bubbles to appear during the application of the PaperScreen film. Simply use the attached bubble-removing card to push the bubbles to the edge and eventually out from underneath the film.

Normally things tend to show some signs of use after being used. The PaperScreen film is no exception.

Depending on how often you draw on your iPad, over time it may loose some of the friction that makes it so unique. I change my PaperScreen every 1-2 months, but I put up to 50 weekly drawing hours on my iPad.

For "normal" use, it should last between 3-6 months.
