Hello! Today we're going to draw this fun Galaxy Margarita using the premium brushes from my Ultimate Watercolor Brush set. Please download the tutorial files first. You'll get the Tutorial PDF, sketch, and swatch file for this project.
Let's begin by sketching our composition with the Freya Colored Pencil No. 7. Lower the opacity of the sketch and lock this layer.

Step 1: Then in another layer, add a paper background using Freya Paper Texture No. 6 in a light grey color. Set the layer to Linear Burn and lock this layer. This layer should be on top of all the succeeding layers so that its texture will apply to the entire artwork. In a new layer, start adding some of the base colors using Freya Wet on Wet No. 7. You can start adding cloudy edges to the Margarita using Freya Stamp Brush No. 38.

Step 2: Add texture to the orange peel with Freya Wet on Dry No. 17 Water Tank. Blend colors with Freya Wet on Dry No. 14 and Freya Wet on Dry No. 6. You can also add a bit of orange on the base of the glass to simulate reflected light.

Step 3: Now we're going to add more texture using the Freya Wet on Wet No. 3 and Freya Wet on Dry No. 17 Water Tank. Use Freya Blender Wash No. 5 to smooth out colors. Use the Freya Tip Brush No. 3 and Freya Stamp Brush No. 30 to add details.

Step 4: And finally add sprinkles and glitter using Freya Tip Brush No. 7 and Freya Stamp Brush No. 3. You can also use Freya Stamp Brushes for the backdrop.
