Hello! Today we're going to do a quick chocolate bar illustration using the premium brushes from the Ultimate Watercolor Brush Set for Procreate.

We'll start by creating a 3000 x 3000-pixel canvas. You can either import the sketch and use it as a coloring page. Or you can create the sketch from scratch by setting up the 2D grid. To do this go to Actions > Canvas > Drawing Guide > Edit Drawing Guide. Choose 2D Grid and copy the rest of the settings below.

Step 1: Once you have the sketch ready, you can disable the grid. Add another layer under the sketch and color add the base color using the Freya Wet on Dry No. 5 brush.

Step 2: Add another layer on top of the base layer, set this new layer as clipping mask. This way any new strokes you add will stay within the bounds of the original base color. Use Freya Wet on Dry No. 5 and the Blender Wash No. 3 brush to add some shadows.

Step 3: Add another layer on top of the shadow layer, set this new layer as clipping mask too. Use Freya Wet on Wet No. 7 and Freya Tip No. 4 brush to add some highlight and details. When you’re done, add a new layer on top of all the layers. Swipe on the Paper Texture Brush No. 2 in a light grey color. Then set that layer’s color mode to multiply. Keep this layer on top of all layers, so that the texture will apply to everything in the cavas.

Step 4: You can make a bigger chocolate bar by duplicating all the chocolate layers and moving it right next to your original drawing. To make it more interesting, erase a part of the chocolate using the Hard brush under the Airbrushing Brush Set. Then add some shadows using the Freya Wet on Dry No. 15 brush to add depth. It’ll look like someone bit off a piece of the chocolate. Then add some chocolate specks using Stamp brush No. 31.
